A British multinational consumer goods company headquartered in London, United Kingdom. More than 400 Unilever brands are used by consumers worldwide and are currently sold in 190 countries, according them a turnover of €52 billion (2019). To fulfil a key imperative to improve dispatch rates and reduce lost sales, the company introduced an advanced available-to-promise (aATP) function which streamlined and automated the stock allocation process.

The Brief

Key Challenges

  • Programme management to support >30 key client stakeholders and >10 different technical suppliers
  • Incongruent project expectations and comms breakdown between workstreams
  • Incoherent and inconsistent deployment deliverables and workflow between business and technical teams
  • Lack of ownership for vital deliverables leading to delays in implementation timeline
  • Integration issues with new and old digital systems leading to potential for business interruption

  • Co-ordinated communication cadence between sprints and defined ways of working to ensure effective teamwork
